Keep in mind this is summer time so, yes, the days are longer, however, come 7:45-8pm it starts to get dark. The 2 contractors did not show up to my house until 6:30pm that night.

However, the contractors were supposed to come at 4:30pm one afternoon to install my shed (I specifically requested this time because I wanted to be there for a majority of the shed installation after I got off work to make sure everything went ok). Apparently Tuff Shed was so backed up with orders at the time that that they hired contractors to perform their work-which is fine.

Back in late August I paid close to $2400f or a simple 6x8 shed to be installed in my back yard. Regarding Tuff Shed's service-I don't even know where to begin other than by saying I am BEYOND disappointed and at this point, angry, with the way this company handles things. To start off, just to be clear, I used the Tuff Shed located in the Richmond/Mechanicsville area but those locations did not pop up. It seems this business *will* bend over backward for you, but not to make things right, they do it to *avoid* making things right. After talking to Chris he assured me that he'd have the Livonia office contact me to make things right but, not surprisingly, I've not heard a thing and that was several months ago. I finally gave up dealing with the local office here in Livonia, Michigan and reached out to Tuff Shed headquarters in Colorado. I've subsequently determined both of these statements to be untrue as well - I reviewed my security camera footage and no such "vapor barrier" was installed and a neighbor had a lap siding model installed and it *has* a radiant heat barrier. Then they told me it was that it doesn't come with lap siding, but after I pointed out that the lap siding model *has* the barrier, it was then that that configuration was discontinued immediately after that shed was built, and my shed doesn't need it because they put a vapor barrier between the lap siding and the inner walls. Then they told me that it's not provided if you get the shed through Home Depot (I did not).

Then they told me that it doesn't come with the Garden Series (mine is the Pro Series).

When I asked the office about it, they first told me the barrier is a $1000 upgrade, which I immediately knew to be totally ludicrous.

The subcontractors that installed my shed did not install the radiant heat barrier on the interior, which they should have. I wish I'd checked into this business better before deciding to go with Tuff Shed.
